Cycle-Trails.co.uk - c2c challenge

In late August 2003 I decided to start training to do the 135 mile c2c route now that I had a decent bike to do it on, I intend originally to do the c2c trip in 2004 Unfortunately I took ill with a bad stomach (I.B.S.) which made it impossible for some years to even think of doing the challenge. Now in 2009 my health has generally improved quite a lot, so me the guys at work have decided to give the c2c challenge a go in 2010.

The official start point is with your rear wheel in the Irish sea at Whitehaven or Workington and finishing with your front wheel in the North Sea at either Roker (Sunderland) or Newcastle.
I have decided to start from Whitehaven and finish at Roker,, and hopefully to do it in 2 or 3 days. My Training started with cycling locally at weekday nights after I finish work. On Sundays it's a day out on the trails with the wife..
