Since owning my 600 Bandit
, it has remained pretty much standard, the only modifications so far are chrome scorpion oil cooler cover, anodised blue bar ends and dust caps, Datatool alarm / immobiliser, blue transparent fly screen, I fitted mirror extensions, me being broad shouldered I couldn't see through the mirrors. I fitted oxford 1st time side panniers for our trip to France , you'd be surprised how much you can fit in them.
I also replaced both tyres to D208's, as the tyre's on it were both different makes. Personally I like to have matching tyres, it's safer, improves handling as well as looking better. When I bought the bandit the tool kit under the seat was missing, I managed to buy one off of ebay.
I have to say that I wasn't a big fan of fly screens but I saw a couple of bandits the same colour as mine at a couple of local bike shops, one a 600 and was a standard bike but with a blue fly screen and thought it really suited the bike, and a 1200 Bandit all tricked up, so I decided to buy a blue fly screen. I fitted it  and couldn't believe the difference it made riding the bike, It was like riding a different bike at high speeds, well worth buying.

I have since purchased a pair of Oxford Humpback Panniers in blue to replace the 1st time panniers, I also got Humpback Tank bag, Humpback Tail Pack, both in blue to go with the bike which are made of more heavy duty material than the 1st time range, I also got a Rentec sports rack off of ebay so I could fit a tail pack to it.
The next thing I got was a stainless steel Jack up kit, it raises the back end by 35mm, this is a bit higher than I wanted, so what I will do is get the measurements from the jack up kit and the standard ones and make another set to give a 20mm jack up kit.

The most expensive thing I wanted when funds would allow me was an after market exhaust, I originally wanted a Scorpion but one night looking on ebay I found a Micron stainless steel oval race can and link pipe and won the bid. I fitted it within minutes of it arriving, it sounds awesome!! and the power difference is unbelievable, it revs quicker and the power band is a lot stronger compared with the standard exhaust.
